System expansion
► Tighten the screws again (1).
Installing a graphics card carrier
► If necessary, connect the power supply cable of the expansion card to the mainboard.
► Plug the graphics card carrier carefully in the direction of the arrow into the slot of the
mainboard. Take care that no cables become trapped.
► Click the two locking levers into place.
► Close the device (see section "Closing the device").
► Install the device in the rack again (see section "Installing the device in the rack").
If you have installed or removed an expansion card, please check the settings for the

corresponding slot in the BIOS Setup. Change the settings if necessary.

Install backup unit (BBU/FBU) (only in conjunction
with a RAID controller)
The backup unit ensures the storage content of the RAID controller is maintained if there is a power
failure.
