Installing and removing a WLAN module (optional)

You can install an additional WLAN module in your device.
Alternatively, you can install a Power over Ethernet module in the same
slot. You can only install one of the modules.

Installing the WLAN module

► Open the casing (see
► If a PCI or PCIe board is installed, remove the cross piece and PCI or PCIe
board (see "Removing the board", Page 38 -
► Break the cover (1) out of the casing.
► Place the WLAN module in the casing with the component side facing downwards and push it
in the direction of the arrow (2) through the opening in the back of the casing.
► Secure the WLAN module with the screws (3).
► Connect the cable of the WLAN module to the connector on the mainboard (4).
► Reinstall the cross piece and the PCI or PCIe board if necessary (see
"Installing the board", Page 36 -
