9.4.- System Configuration

Press the MENU button to enable the main menu. Using buttons P+/P-,
select the "Settings", and press OK to confirm. The Settings menu will then
appear.
Change the PIN Code:
- The manufacturer's default PIN code is 0 0 0 0. If you wish to enable
the "Parental" function, you must introduce your own PIN code.
Note: Do not forget your PIN Code.
- To change the PIN Code, select the option "Change Receiver PIN",
using the P+/P- buttons, and afterwards press the OK button.
- Introduce the current code using the numerical keyboard (by default:
0 0 0 0).
- Then type in the new PIN Code.
- Finally type in the PIN Code once more to confirm it.
Once this operation is finished, press the MENU button to return to the
normal mode.
Basic Configuration:
- Select the option "Basic Settings" On the Settings menu by using the
P+/P- buttons, and press OK to confirm.
- Once inside the menu, use buttons P+/P- to move through the options
that will appear, enabling you to change the configuration as follows:
a.- Parental:
- The Adaptor makes the Parental Control function available to block
access to certain programs. To enable or disable this function, use the
V+/V- keys on this option.
b.- GMT Time Offset:
- The Adaptor possesses a clock that works automatically according to
GMT time signals received from the service supplier. The time zone will
vary according to the country you select as per the next paragraph.
c.- Country:
- Select the country by geographical location, using the V+/V- buttons.
d.- Antenna Feed (+5V):
- If you are using an active aerial (with an amplifier), you must enable this
option to feed the amplifier with 5V/100mA. The feeding process will
be carried out through the coaxial cable connected to the ANT IN input
port of the Adaptor.
- To enable/disable this option, use the V+/V- buttons.
If there is no amplifier, select the NO option, otherwise the Adaptor
may be damaged.
