1. Frequency selected by 1/0 writes of appropriate 16-bit fre-
quency factor into 8253 PIT registers.
2. Baud rates shown here are only a sample subset of possible
software programmable rates available. Any frequency from
37.5 to 614.4 kHz may be generated utilizing the on-board
crystal oscillator and 16-bit PIT.
