12. Position the replacement SCSI backplane in the track located at the bottom
of the chassis. See Figure 4-87, B. Ensure the three holes in the top of the
backplane are inserted into standoffs mounted on the chassis.
13. Slide the SCSI backplane to the right as viewed from the rear of the chassis.
14. Position the white insulator in place as shown on Figure 4-86, B and secure
the SCSI backplane to the chassis with the screw removed in Step 10. See
Figure 4-86, A.
15. Install the PCI riser card into the chassis following procedures described
earlier in this chapter. Ensure the white insulator is positioned between the
frame of the riser card and the power supply unit. The metal frame of the
riser card should not touch the power supply.
16. Install the fan module following procedures described earlier in this chapter.
17. Connect all power and signal cables to the backplane removed in Step 7.
Also connect any cables previously connected to PCI option boards.
18. Install the CD-ROM/Floppy Disk Drive assembly into the flex bay
following procedures described earlier in this chapter.
19. Install any hard disk drives removed from the drive bays.
20. Install the top cover. See Top Cover Installation found earlier in this
chapter.
21. Push the server into of the rack.
