Table 28 lists probable failures and actions recommended.

Error message numbers

An error number ERR#xxxx appears at the end of an error message. Table 29
matches each error number with the test that caused the error and the name of the
error. Look up the complete definition of the error name and the actions that will
correct it in Table 28.

Table 29 shows the diagnostic error messages, their description and probable cause
and action to be taken (see Table 28).

1– Replace the Fibre Channel hub

can be system board, GBIC, embedded

running a wrap test. The tests should be run
again after swapping cables and GBICs to
determine cause. It is unlikely that the
system board is at fault as most system
board failures cause a POST failure.
