Getting Started
Getting started with MABO2-B6 in six-step process:
Unpack the MAMBO2-B6 and charge the internal battery.
Insert a SIM card.
Connect the MAMBO2-B6 to a PC USB port.
Turn on your MAMBO2-B6.
Install the FALCOM Workbench software.
Test the device.

Inserting the SIM card
To use your MAMBO2-B6 device you have to insert a valid SIM card (that supports SMS, Voice/Data and
GPRS). The SIM card must be either a 1.8 V or 3 V one. Older 5V SIM cards are not compatible with your
MAMBO2-B6 device.
Hint: The SIM card contains your subscription and your mobile number. The SIM card and its
contacts can be damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting
or removing the SIM card.
To insert a SIM card follow the steps below:
After the MAMBO2-B6 has been fully charged, disconnect it from the external power and position it
so that the display is facing up and the SIM/Charge cover is facing you.
Open the the SIM cover (1).
With SIM microchip facing upward and with the bevelled corner oriented on the right side of SIM
insert your SIM card into the SIM card slot (in the upper interface). Thereafter, slide the SIM forward
until it fits into the slot (2).
Close the SIM cover (3).
To remove an inserted SIM card from its reader, just push the SIM card edge with a pen, fingernail or
other suitable pointed object (you see the SIM card when you open the cover, see also figure below).
