Clock display

1. The clock display on your radio can be shown using either a 12 or 24
hour clock format.

Display backlight dimmer

The brightness on your radio can be adjusted In order to adapt the intensity
of the display to suit the ambient room lighting for when your radio is playing
or when it is in standby mode.
1. When your radio is in use, press and release the Menu button. The
menu will show on the display.
2. Press and release the Tuning Up or Down buttons
appears on the display. Press and release the Select button. The
current brightness setting will be marked with an asterisk.
3. Press and release the Tuning Up or Down buttons
'High', 'Mid', 'Low' or to 'Off' (almost off 'night time' setting).
4. Press and release the Select button to confi rm your selection.
• When the radio is in standby mode, pressing a button will cause the
radio to switch to a higher brightness level for a few seconds. This is
so that if the standby brightness level is set to the almost off 'night
time' setting, it is possible to see the time.
