5.5 UPS Self Test

1. If the UPS is first turned on with AC applied, the unit will perform a 5-second self-
test.
2. When the UPS is ON and runs in online mode, press and hold the MUTE/ TEST
button (
), release it when you hear four beeps and the UPS performs a 10-

3. You can use the UPSentry 2012 software (included in the provided CD), the
SNMP card (optional) or the ModBus card (optional) to let the UPS perform a
10-second self test, a regular test and battery deep discharging.
