MOUNTING AND CONNECTING
Connecting the operating voltage 230 V AC / 50 Hz
Connect the power cord to the terminal block „Operating Voltage" inside the service
junction box. The camera station has a primary fuse (2 AT). The secondary fuse has a
value of 3.15 AT. Should it be necessary to replace the fuses, please make sure to use
the designated values.
Attention:
Do not yet turn the operating voltage on.

Connecting the interface RS-485 / RS-232
The interface cable (RS232 / RS485) has to be connected to the terminal block „Input
Interface".

Please note that you can only use one control interface at a time. When installing the
device, you have to determine either of these interfaces (see Configuration Camera
Station). The unit is factory set to RS-485. You can connect a KB-485 keyboard to the
„KB-485" socket for test purposes. This option allows you to control all camera functions
directly on site. If the P/T unit is the first or last device within the RS-485 BUS, it has to
be terminated using a 120 Ohm termination resistor (jumper RS485) inside the service
junction box. All further stations within the BUS must not be terminated (remove
jumper). If the P/T unit is controlled via RS-232, please refer to the RS-232 protocol
attached to these instructions.
