MOUNTING AND CONNECTING
For hardware set-up the switches 1-4 / DIP 2 have to be set according to the following
table. In the factory setting the RS-485 is active.

N.B: You have to restart the system in order to activate the new settings
Commissioning
When you turn on the operating voltage (230 V/AC), the unit automatically starts a self
test routine to check the horizontal and vertical limit switches and the motorzoom lens.
When the self test has been completed, the unit is fully operational and can be
controlled via the configured interface.
Configuration of vertical axle
Depending on the position in which the compact camera has been installed to the motor
bracket, it could be possible that the up and down function needs to be swapped. In this
case, please enter ^G at the KB-485 keyboard.
Correlation of speed
The variable speed of the motor is controlled by the focal length position of the
motorzoom lens to male sure the motor moves quickly in the wide angle mode and
slowly in the tele mode. If you wish the correlation to be inverted for your individual
purposes, enter ^C at the KB-485 keyboard.
