Setting the horizontal and vertical limit switches
The factory adjustment of the limit switches ensures that motor can only be moved in a
relatively small range to avoid damage during installation caused by blind obstacles.
After you have connected the operating voltage for the first time, the unit checks the
limit switches and stores them into the internal memory. Now you can start to adjust the
limit switches to your individual requirements. Please proceed as follows:
•
turn home position and panorama function off
•
open the motor at the lateral parts as shown above
•
loosen the stud screws of the corresponding axle
- adjustment of vertical limit switches ± 60°
- adjustment of horizontal limit switches ± 175°
•
go to the desired limit switch position using the test sockets
•
fix the stud screw of the adjusted axle
•
to switch to the other axle, hit both test sockets simultaneously
•
repeat the above procedure to adjust the second axle
•
hit both test sockets for at least 1,1 seconds to activate a RESET
N.B.:
After adjustment of the limit switches, you must run a RESET to store the
changes in the internal memory of the unit!
A RESET can also be activated from the KB-485 keyboard. Enter ^ and
the right F key or cut off the voltage.
