(1-64) are directly assigned to the corresponding position number (1-64). If you want to transfer the alarm of a camera station to a connected VIDEOTRONIC video matrix, switch 12 (DIP I) has to be set to position ON. The video matrix must have the system address „00“...
  • Page 16 MOUNTING AND CONNECTING Setting the PTZ camera as tracking camera The configuration of the camera station has to be finished before a hardware connection is established between the DITrec and the PTZ camera in order to prevent damaging the driver chips by excess voltages. Configuration is carried out in the junction box as well as in the PTZ head.
  • Page 17 MOUNTING AND CONNECTING Configuring the camera station for tracking mode In order to configure the camera station it is necessary to remove both lateral parts of the PTZ head for getting access to both DIP blocks on the control circuit board. Software: switches 9 - 11 / DIP1 For altering the software the switches 9-11 have to be set according to the table shown below.
  • Page 18: Commissioning

MOUNTING AND CONNECTING For hardware set-up the switches 1-4 / DIP 2 have to be set according to the following table. In the factory setting the RS-485 is active. RS-232 switch 1 switch 2 switch 3 switch 4 N.B: You have to restart the system in order to activate the new settings Commissioning When you turn on the operating voltage (230 V/AC), the unit automatically starts a self test routine to check the horizontal and vertical limit switches and the motorzoom lens.
  • Page 19: Setting The Horizontal And Vertical Limit Switches

MOUNTING AND CONNECTING Setting the horizontal and vertical limit switches The factory adjustment of the limit switches ensures that motor can only be moved in a relatively small range to avoid damage during installation caused by blind obstacles. After you have connected the operating voltage for the first time, the unit checks the limit switches and stores them into the internal memory.

MOUNTING AND CONNECTING Operating the camera station Control of the camera station is done with the BG-ALL control keys. To control the pan/tilt functions, use the arrow keys (up, down, left, right); to control the motorzoom lens, use the zoom and focus keys. Operating the motor with presets You can store up to 100 individual camera positions (00 - 99) and call them via alarm inputs or directly from the KB-485 keyboard.
