Setting the PTZ camera as tracking camera
The configuration of the camera station has to be finished before a hardware connection
is established between the DITrec and the PTZ camera in order to prevent damaging
the driver chips by excess voltages. Configuration is carried out in the junction box as
well as in the PTZ head.
Please note that control of the tracking camera can only be carried out via the RS-232
interface. This interface has to be set when the device is installed (see under
configuration of the camera station and configuration of the junction box). As factory
setting the RS-485 interface is pre-set.
Configuring the junction box for tracking mode
The RS-485 jumper (120 Ω) has to be removed for tracking camera operation.
The connection cable for the interface (RS-232) has to be connected to the "Eingang
Schnittstelle" terminal screw.
Pin assignment RS-232 interface (DITrec, COM 2):
A direct control of the SN-15AH/PPHS is only possible for distances of max. 15m. For
larger transmission distances standard interface drivers have to be used.
