Adjustment and exchange of steering wheel

ROTAX recommends to use exclusively the original steering wheel and to tighten it only with the
fasteners (screw and securing nut) supplied by ROTAX.
Only with the securing nut (high type) it is sufficiently secured against turning in the steering wheel
hub.
The dimension of the plastic material hub is especially matched to the original ROTAX steering
column.
The steering wheel can be adjusted in 2 positions:
The steering wheel can be fitted 25 mm / 0,98 in. lower than standard.
Remove the two fastening screws from the steering wheel hub.
Knock the hub with a plastic hammer into the new position.
Retorque fastening screws.
Note:
If you have knocked the hub too far down in error, you can correct the position by
knocking with a plastic hammer at the central part of the hub.
