Installing Optional Feeder Unit (UE-409056)

Note: Always install this Feeder Unit at the base of the unit. Install it as the 2nd Feeder Unit when configured for two cas-
settes or as the 3rd Feeder Unit when configured for three cassettes.

(1) Turn the Power Switch to the OFF (O) position.
(2) Disconnect the Power Cord.
(3) Disconnect the Telephone Line Cable.
(4) Remove the Document Trays
(5) Remove the Paper Cassette from the machine.
(6) Remove the Toner Cartridge from the machine.
(7) Remove the Paper Cassette from the Optional Feeder Unit.
(8) Remove the two Screws on the new Feeder Unit indicated
by the arrow marks. (These screws are used to attach the
Feeder Unit to the machine in step 12.)
(9) Place the machine on its right side on top of a clean cloth to
prevent damaging the Printer Cover.
(10) Plug-in the connector of the Feeder Unit.
(11) Hook the latches of the Feeder Unit into the holes and set
the Feeder Unit in the direction of the arrow.
(12) Secure the Feeder Unit with the screws removed in step 8.
