11.4.2 Setup PPTP Network Client

Step 1 – Enable PPTP Client
Fill in the IP address of PPTP Server and
allocates Username/Password. When connecting
to the PPTP Server successfully, it will appear the
allocated IP address for the PPTP client in the
"Assigned IP" field.

Customize the VPN Connection
1. Right-click the icon that you have created.
2. Select Properties > Security > Advanced > Settings.
3. Select No Encryption from the Data Encryption and click Apply.
4. Select the Properties > Networking tab.
5. Select PPTP VPN from the VPN Type.
Make sure the following are selected:

Connecting to the PPTP VPN
1. Connect to your ISP.
2. Start the dial-up connection configured in the previous procedure.
3. Enter your PPTP VPN User Name and Password.
4. Select Connect.
ADVANCED SETTINGS > VPN Settings > PPTP > Client
Enable PPTP Client feature of DFL-1500
The IP address of PPTP server.
The designed account which allows PPTP client to dial in.
The designed password which allows PPTP client to dial in.
The allocated IP address when PPTP client connects to the PPTP server.
