Adding, Editing, and Deleting Directory Entries

You can create entries for point-to-point calls and multipoint calls and save
them in the Polycom HDX system's directory.
To add a single-site entry to the directory:
1. Press
Directory on the remote control.
2. Select
, then New Entry, and specify that this is an entry for one
site.
3. Specify the following information:
In this field...
Name
Number
Call Type
Call Quality
IP Number
Extension
Call Quality
Phone Number
Mobile Number
Email
Group
4. Select Save to save the entry.
To add a multiple-site entry to the directory:
1. Press
Directory on the remote control.
2. Select
, then New Entry, and specify that this is an entry for
multiple sites.
Enter this information...
Name that will appear in the directory list and
on incoming call messages.
ISDN number to use for calling the site.
Call type to use for calls to the site. Depends
on the capabilities of your system.
Call speed to use for ISDN calls to the site.
IP address for calls to the site.
The system's extension (E.164 address).
Call speed to use for IP calls to the site.
Optional contact information for other
resources in the conference room.
Designation to help you quickly find the
number in the directory.
