Paper eject mechanism error detection
An error in the paper eject mechanism can be detected by the Open/
Close (OC) motor driver. The error (
detected when a single phase of the OC motor is energized for longer
than the allowed period of time. The +42 V power supply is shut off
when this error is detected.
An OC motor out-of-step error cannot be detected because the
mechanism does not include a circuit to detect motor rotations.
