Final Drive/Differential
- Insert shaft bevel gear.
- Insert inner race of small taper roller bear-
ing and output flange and fit on hexagon nut.
K - A - Screw in M 10 hexagon bolt as a counter-
support.
B - Wrench socket
- Tighten hexagon nut to 20 Nm, turn back
hexagon bolt -A- or turn out fully.
K - Measure friction torque.
A - Commercially available torque gauge,

B - Wrench socket
- Increase the tightening torque further, if nec-
essary, until the specified friction torque is
obtained.
Note:
Increase tightening torque only slowly and read
off the friction torque several times when doing
this; if the specified friction torque is exceeded,
the solder wire must be replaced and the set-
ting repeated.

Distance travelled at least 50 km
1)
- Remove shaft bevel gear and carefully take
off the squeezed solder wire.
K - Measure thickness of the solder wire at a
properly compressed point - without shoul-
der.
- Select a shim(s) of the same thickness.
