BChecking Engine Start System
To avoid personal injury:
A Do not allow anyone near the vehicle while
testing.
A If the vehicle does not pass the test do not
operate the vehicle.
C Preparation before testing.
1. Place all control levers in the "NEUTRAL" position.
2. Set the parking brake and stop the engine.
C Test: Range gear shift lever safety switch
1. Sit on the operator's seat.
2. Shift the range gear shift lever to "H" position.
3. Return the Speed control pedal to the "N" position.
4. Turn the key to "START" position.
5. The engine must not crank.
6. Repeat the step 2 to 5 with the range gear shift lever
at "L" and "R" each position.

EVERY 100 HOURS

BChecking VHT Neutral Spring
1. Park the vehicle on a flat place.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Shift the range gear shift lever to the neutral position.
4. Start the engine.
5. Make sure that the rotation speed of the engine
returns to the idling rotation immediately when taking
the foot off the pedal, after depressing the speed
control pedal several times. If the above does not
occur immediately, consult your local KUBOTA dealer
for this service.
BChecking Wheel Bolt Torque
To avoid personal injury:
A Never operate vehicle with a loose wheel bolts.
A Any time bolts are loosened, retighten to the
specified torque.
A Check all bolts frequently and keep them tight.
Check wheel bolts regularly especially when new. If they
are loose, tighten them as follows.
(1) Torque wheel bolts to 108.4 to 121.9 N-m
(11 to 12.4 kgf-m) (80 to 90 ft-lbs.)
