SERVICE EVERY 1500 HOURS
• Be sure to stop the engine before replacing the
oil-separator-element.
1. Remove the cover and remove the oil-separator-
element.
2. Wipe off the oil and the carbon in the case with a
clean rag.
3. Fit a new oil-separator-element and O-ring.
4. Tighten the cover until a cover comes in contact
with body.
(1) Oil separator
(2) Body
(3) Oil separator element

3. Checking the EGR cooler

• Consult your local KUBOTA dealer for checking the
EGR cooler.

SERVICE EVERY 2000 HOURS

Perform inspection and servicing for every 50, 250, 500
and 1000 hours of operation at the same time.
1. Checking the alternator and the
starter motor
1. After every 2000 hours of use, check and maintain
the alternator and the starter motor.
It is just about the time the brushes would become
worn.

It is recommended to ask your KUBOTA dealer to
test and overhaul the alternator and the starter
motor.
If you often use the lights during work, inspect the
alternator every 1000 hours.

SERVICE EVERY 3000 HOURS

Perform all 50, 250, 500, 1000, and 1500 hour
servicing at the same time.

1. Checking the EGR system

• Consult your local KUBOTA dealer for checking the
EGR system.

2. Checking the turbocharger

• Consult your local KUBOTA dealer for checking the
turbocharger.

ANNUAL SERVICING

1. Checking the electrical leads and
the terminals
1. Check if all accessible electrical leads, connectors,
and terminals are the good condition and fit firmly.
2. Repair or replace damaged parts.
3. Check the fuse box and the fuse holders for
oxidation and soiling and clean if necessary.
2. Checking the exhaust manifold for
cracks, gas, leakage, and mounting
screw

3. Checking the intake air line for air
leaks

boost sensor and the air-flow-sensor (AFS).
