6.5.1 Checking the hydraulic oil level
Requirements
– Park the truck on a level surface.
– Start the motor and fully raise and lower
the mast once.
– Switch off the motor.
Procedure
• Remove the hydraulic oil dipstick (219)
from the hole, wipe it with a clean cloth
and insert it fully again.
• Remove the hydraulic oil dipstick and
check the level of the hydraulic oil.

For cold oil: The oil level should lie
between the "Min." and "Max." levels.
For hot oil: The hydraulic oil should lie just
above the MAX marking.
• The difference between MIN and MAX is
about 10 litres.
• Add hydraulic oil if necessary.
• Repeat the test.
• When the oil level is correct, fully insert
the hydraulic oil dipstick (219) again.
