Complete the following steps to create a backup copy of the EFI variables.
Attention:
ask the customer if they have a current backup copy. If they do not, go to the
procedure on page 146 to manually create a backup copy of the EFI variables
before you remove or replace the Remote Supervisor Adapter or clear NVRAM.
1. Ensure that the formatted media where you plan to store the backup file is

7. Remove the midplane board (see "Midplane board" on page 135); then,
carefully lift the midplane board out of its socket, and place it on a
static-protective surface.
