8 Configure the settings relating to images [Image]
•
The data sent from a PC to the unit through port 52000 of the UDP can be sent to the camera through
RS485 to control the camera.
[RS485 transmission]
Select "On" or "Off" to determine whether or not to control the camera using RS485.
•
Default: On
[Communication method]
Select the communication method of the RS485 cable from 4-line and 2-line.
•
Default: 4-line
[Baud rate]
Select the line speed for RS485 transmission from the following.
2400bps/4800bps/9600bps/19200bps/38400bps
•
Default: 19200bps
[Data bit]
Select the data bit from 7bit or 8bit.
•
Default: 8bit
[Parity check]
Select from the following to determine whether or not to perform the parity check.
None/Odd/Even

Default: None
[Protocol]
Select the RS485 control command for the camera from the following.
Panasonic/Pelco-D/Pelco-P/Custom

Default: Panasonic
Note
•
When using RS485 control commands other than Panasonic, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P, select "Custom"
for "Protocol" and upload the command table to the unit via an FTP server. The unit must be rebooted
after the upload is completed.
•
If Pan/Tilt/Zoom functions cannot be operated for Panasonic cameras, you must select "Custom" for
"Protocol" and upload the command table to the unit. For further information, refer to our website
