13. Service Mode (bizhub 160f/bizhub 161f)
C. PRN SUB REGIST
Functions • To vary and adjust the print start position in the sub-scanning direction.
Use • After the PRN MAIN REGIST adjustment has been performed
• If the image on the copy deviates in the sub scan direction
• When the PH unit has been replaced
Adjustment
Specification
Adjustment If the width of C in the test pattern is longer than the specified width
Instruction
If the width of C in the test pattern is shorter than the specified width
Adjustment 1. Print the test pattern.
Procedure 2. Check that the width of C in the test pattern meets the specification.
If the width of C is out of specification, adjust it according to the following procedure.
3. Enter the "ADJUST" menu in the Service mode.
4. Change the setting.
If the shift cannot be adjusted to within the specification with a single adjustment, per-
form the adjustment again to change the setting.
5. Press the Yes key to apply the setting.
NOTE
• If the Stop key is pressed, instead of the Yes key, the main screen is displayed
and the setting returns to that before it was changed.
6. Print a test pattern again and check it.

so that the following specification is met.
Specifications
20 ± 2.5 mm
Setting Range
87 to 113 (1 increment = 0.46 mm)
The default setting is "100"
..... Increase the setting.
..... Decrease the setting.
