"LOG" FUNCTION
This function, that is turned on by
pressing the "LOG" multifunction key
on the main on-board computer
screen (TRIP) (fig. 89), makes it pos-
sible to store the most significant trip
data (e.g. kind and purpose of the
trip, visitor, name of the driver, dis-
tance covered, etc.).
The "LOG" function memory is pro-
vided with three different lists, each
one can store 13 trips that can be ac-
cessed by selecting the user's name.
The system identifies the users by
"User 1", "User 2" and "User 3" but
each user can customize his/her
name.
To customize the name, press
"Name", then select and confirm the
required name with the right knob 21
(fig. 1).
Enter the user's name on the new
screen displayed selecting and con-
firming the characters with the right
knob. To speed up character entry,
the system automatically moves to the
beginning or the end of the list by
pressing keys "¯ ˙".
To enter a blank space use "_".
The multifunction keys "ABC abc"
allow you to pass from CAPITAL to
small letters and vice versa.
To confirm the name press "OK",
and to correct it press "Correct".
Press "Cancel" to quit without stor-
ing the name.
To access the main "LOG" screen
(fig. 95) after pressing the relevant
multifunction key, select and confirm
the user's name with the right knob.
The options available are the fol-
lowing:
– Read
– Edit
– Create
– Delete
– Select.
To select a stored item, select and
confirm the "Select" option with the
right knob, then turn the knob to
move the cursor to the required item
and confirm it by pressing the knob.
Press "Go back" to return to the
previous screen.
