While recording, the display will
show the message number, the date
and the remaining record time or the
full memory message.
Press "Zoom +" to zoom in the mes-
sage displayed and press "Zoom -" to
restore its original dimension.
To pause recording press "Pause";
to restart it press "Continue". To end
recording press "End".
Recording will be ended automati-
cally in one of the following cases (the
message will be stored automatically):
– pressing "End" on the "Voice
recorder" main screen;
– selecting an audio source after
pressing the AUDIO key 11 (fig. 1) or
the SRC key 12 (fig. 1);
– when the memory is "full";
– pressing the VOICE button on the
steering wheel;
– pressing key 15 (fig. 1) to accept
an incoming call;
– making a call;
– turning the CONNECT off.
This function is not interrupted
when the user selects other functions
(e.g. navigator), excluding the audio
sources.
If a call is received while recording
a message, the ring tone will not be
activated until ending recording but
the display will show the incoming
call symbol to warn the user. If the
user accepts the call recording will be
ended automatically.
An incoming call (with ring tone on)
or a navigator indication will stop
playing a recorded message.
RECORDING CALLS
To record a call, press the VOICE
button A (fig. 2) on the steering wheel
for longer than two seconds. Record-
ing will start immediately without
beep and without displaying the main
screen of the "Voice recorder".
To stop recording press the VOICE
button again. Recording will be
stopped automatically when the call
is over or when accepting another in-
coming call.
