After resetting or when starting a
new journey, dashes "----" are shown
for 10 seconds before displaying the
average speed value.
This function also enables to set and
activate the speed limit. When the
speed limit set is exceeded a beep and
a message on the display will warn the
driver. The message will be displayed
for about 3 seconds then it goes al-
though the car speed is exceeding the
set limit value. The message will be
displayed each time the speed limit is
exceeded.

To set the speed limit, select and
confirm the "Set limit speed" with the
right knob 21 (fig. 1), then turn the
knob right to increase the limit and
left to reduce it. Confirm the required
value by pressing the knob or reset
the previous value by pressing the
"Cancel" multifunction key. To acti-
vate the warning buzzer select "Ac-
tive" with the right knob and confirm;
the warning message is always dis-
played, except when the set limit is re-
set.
Press "Go back" to return to the
previous screen.
"HISTORICAL DATA"
FUNCTION
This function shows on the left-hand
side of the display (fig. 92) the total
time of the journey, the distance cov-
ered and the average speed calculated
from the last reset. To reset data press
"Reset".
