VOICE MESSAGES
– VOICE MEMO
This function allows the user to
record and obviously listen to the
voice messages and calls again, for a
maximum duration of 3 minutes.
When the time available is over, the
operation is automatically ended.
To turn the voice recorder on, press
the VOICE button A (fig. 2) on the
steering wheel for longer than two
seconds. When the voice recorder is
on, the CONNECT display will show
the screen with the stored message list
and the menu with the following op-
tions:
– Delete all
– Delete
– Select
– Record (multifunction key)
– Play (multifunction key).
Messages will be listed according to
the recording sequence by date.
The "Play" option is displayed only
if there are recorded messages; a spe-
cial message will be displayed if there
is no message recorded.
To select a message to be listened to
or to be cleared, select and confirm
"Select" with the right knob 21 (fig.
1). Turn the knob right or left to se-
lect the required message and then
press the knob.
The display will show only the mes-
sages that can be contained in the
screen, to scroll the entire list turn the
knob 21 (fig. 1) left after selecting the
last displayed message. To go back to
the beginning of the list turn the knob
right after selecting the first displayed
message.
To listen to the selected message,
press "Play". To clear the message,
select and confirm "Delete" with the
right knob 21 (fig. 1).
To clear all the voice messages, se-
lect and confirm "Delete all".
The system will ask for confirmation
before deleting one or all the mes-
sages.
IMPORTANT Deleted messages
cannot be recovered.
The "Record" option is always avail-
able, even when the memory is full. In
this case, after activating the function,
a message warning that the memory
is full and that you have to clear some
messages before recording new ones
will be displayed. A beep will indicate
that the system is ready to start
recording.
While listening to a message, the dis-
play will show the message number,
the date and its length.
