Setting Sheets
(1) Push the lock lever down.
When the hopper is lowered to the position where the sheets are set, there will be a clicking
sound and it will lock.
(2) Set sheets straight so that their timing marks are on the left side viewing from the sheet feed
direction.
CAUTION
If the front edge and side edge of the sheets are not aligned, it will result in a sheet feeding
error or skewed sheets.
(3) Slide the sheet guide so that there is no space between it and the sheets.
CAUTION
· When there is space between the sheets and the sheet guide, it may result in a skewed
sheets.
· Refer to "Sheet Setting Example" (P.31) and check that the sheets are set properly.
(4) Push the lock lever release claw on the inside of the lock lever in the direction of the
arrow(toward the operation panel side) to unlock the hopper.
The hopper will move upward and return to the sheet feeding position.
