Power Saving Modes

After turning the power on, if the device is not operated for a certain period of time, the device
will automatically enter power saving mode and power consumption will be minimized. The
following are two types of power saving modes:
Power saving sleep mode
Power saving standby mode
Power Saving Sleep Mode (Fast blinking)
Power Saving Sleep Mode (Fast blinking)
READY lamp

Power Saving Standby Mode (Slow blinking)
Power Saving Standby Mode (Slow blinking)

Deactivating Sleep/Standby Modes:
The sleep/standby modes will be deactivated when the following occur:
· Operation is performed using the operating panel.
· Operating command is received from the computer.
· Top cover is open.
· Sheet is set in the hopper.
Cases When Device Cannot Enter Sleep/Standby Mode:
· There is an error.

If device is not operated for 5 minutes, it will enter power saving sleep
mode, and the READY lamp will blink repeatedly at fast intervals. Power
consumption will be reduced.
After entering the power saving sleep mode, if the device is not operated for
another 5 minutes, it will enter power saving standby mode.
The READY lamp will blink repeatedly at slow intervals and power consumption
will be minimized.
