DIP Switch SW3 Settings

CAUTION
· Be careful when configuring settings. Malfunction will occur if the settings are incorrect.
· Make sure the power is off when configuring settings.
: Indicates the factory settings.
Contents of setting
Operation mode
SR1800 Mode (USB connection mode)
(Not used)
SR600 Mode (RS-232C connection mode)
Sheet hold
Edge skew detection
SW3-1 to 2: Preset to "SR1800 Mode (USB connection mode)." If an existing SR-600 model
is replaced with this device and the RS-232C interface is used, set this switch
to "SR600MODE (RS-232C connection mode)."
SW3-3:
Select whether or not to hold the read sheet. When it is ON, the read sheet will
be stopped at the sheet discharge part. The factory setting is OFF so that the
read sheet will be discharged to the stacker.
SW3-4:
Select whether or not to detect edge skew. The factory setting is ON so that if
the sheet is skewed above a certain value, there will be an error, and the sheet
will stop being read.
If it is set to OFF, there will be no error even if the sheet is skewed, and the sheet
will be read.
Edge skew detection:
The edge skew detection is the function to detect whether a sheet was fed straight.
Therefore, a skew error may be detected for the following sheets when the SW3-4 is turned
ON.
· Sheet with perforations
· Curled or folded sheet
