Sending Faxes
Automatic Transmission

Place the original face down in the ADF.

Enter the fax number using One Touch,
Speed Dial, Search or the dial pad.

Press Fax Start.
Sending a Cover Page

Place the original face down in the ADF.

Press Menu, 2, 2, 8.

When NEXT FAX ONLY?
appears, press Set .

Enter two digits to indicate the number
of pages being sent, and then press Set .

Real Time Transmission
You can send faxes in real time.

Receiving Faxes
Select Receive Mode
You can select FAX/TEL, TAD,
MANUAL or FAX ONLY
pressing the Mode button repeatedly
until you have changed the FAX and
FAX/TEL lights to the setting you want
to use.
If you select FAX/TEL
you set Ring Delay and F/T Ring Time.
Manual Reception

Pick up the handset.

Press Fax Start if you hear fax tones
(beeps).

When the LCD shows
RECEIVING , replace the handset.
