Cleaning and Inspection
1. The outer surface of the fluid hose can be
wiped with a suitable solvent.
The fluid hose should not be soaked in
>
solvent and only non-polar solvent should
be used to clean the outer surface. Soak-
ing or the use of polar solvents can create
hazardous conditions that could cause
equipment failure and/or personnel injury.
2. Inspect the external surfaces of the fluid hose
assembly for damage to the outer jacket, inner
sheath, or core tubing. If damage such as abrasion,
cuts, and/or scratches are found the assembly
must be replaced.
