Volvo-Changing IPS Air Filter
1. Remove the air fi lter cover. Discard the old fi lter in an
environmentally friendly fashion.
2. Ensure the fi lter cover/housing is clean and free of
debris. Do not let any debris fall into the engine.
3. Install the new air fi lter. Make sure it seats on all sides.
4. Reinstall the air filter cover. Lock the 4 clamps
securely.

1. Remove the lid.
2. Remove the crankcase ventilation fi lter and clean as
necessary.. Make sure debris does not enter the water
passages when cleaning the fi lter.
3. Reinstall the fi lter. Turn the cap clockwise to tighten.
