The control levers can be used
at idle speeds to maneuver
around tight marina fuel docks,
moorings, etc.
To rotate the bow to port,
engage the starboard remote
control lever in forward and
the port remote control lever in
reverse. This control position
will cause a port bow rotation.

To rotate the bow to starboard,
engage the port remote control
level in forward and the star-
board remote control lever in
reverse. This control position
will cause a starboard bow ro-
tation. See illustration B.
Note: The control handle that
is in reverse will always be the
direction that the vessel's bow
will rotate. Use the reverse
control to regulate the throttle
which depending on position
will cause the bow to rotate
faster or slower.
Neutral Throttle Only Position-Remote Control
The remote control can be disengaged so that the control
lever for port or starboard engine operates in the neutral
position with an adjustable throttle.
1. Move the port or starboard control lever to the neutral
position.
2. Press the neutral button in at the EVC panel and hold
it down while moving the control lever forward to the
shift position.
3. Release the neutral button. The green indicator begins to
fl ash acknowledging that the shift function is disengaged.
The control lever now is a throttle only control.
4. When the control lever is moved back to the neutral
position it will automatically re-engage. This is acknowl-
edged by the green indicator light which shows a constant
green color.
