4. Starting circuit cut-off relay
S Disconnect the starting circuit cut-off relay
coupler from the wireharness.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
tery (12 V) to the starting circuit cut-off relay
coupler as shown.
Battery positive terminal !
Battery negative terminal !
Tester positive probe ! green/yellow
Tester negative probe ! green/yellow
S Does the starting circuit cut-off relay have
continuity between green/yellow
green/yellow ?

5. Starter relay
S Disconnect the starter relay coupler from the
wireharness.
S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
tery (12 V) to the starter relay coupler as
shown.
Battery positive terminal ! green/yellow
Battery negative terminal ! black
Tester positive probe ! red
Tester negative probe ! black

6. Main switch
S Check the main switch for continuity.
Refer to "CHECKING THE SWITCHES".
S Is the main switch OK?
YES

7. Engine stop switch
S Check the engine stop switch for continuity.
Refer to "CHECKING THE SWITCHES".
S Is the engine stop switch OK?
YES

8. Brake light switch (front and rear)
S Check the brake light switch for continuity.
Refer to "CHECKING THE SWITCHES".
S Is the brake switch OK?
YES
