BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM/

CHECKING THE CHAIN DRIVE OIL LEVEL

Bleed screw
6 Nm (0.6 mSkg)
k. Fill the reservoir to the proper level.
Refer to "CHECKING THE BRAKE FLUID
LEVEL".
WARNING
After bleeding the hydraulic brake system,
check the brake operation .
CHECKING THE CHAIN DRIVE OIL LEVEL
1. Stand the scooter on a level surface.
NOTE:
S Place the scooter on a suitable stand.
S Make sure that the scooter up right.
2. Remove:
S chain drive oil filler cap 1
3. Check:
S chain drive oil level
The chain drive oil level should be between
the minimum level mark a and maximum
level mark b .
Below the minimum level mark ! Add the
recommended transfer oil to the proper level.
Recommended chain drive oil
SAE 80 hypoid gear oil graded
"GL-4", "GL-5" or "GL-6"
or
multi-purpose SAE 80W90
hypoid gear oil
4. Install:
S chain drive oil filler cap
