Installing and Recharging the Batteries

Gently turn the End Cap counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment
and insert three "C" size batteries, positive terminals facing towards the lens.
The DVR Flashlight accepts both non-rechargable alkaline batteries or the
included rechargable Ni-MH batteries. Once inserted, replace the End Cap by
gently turning it clockwise.
WARNING - Do NOT attempt to recharge alkaline batteries in the DVR Flash-
light. The 12V DC Adaptor and Automotive Adaptor are for charging Ni-MH
batteries ONLY.
When the rechargable Ni-MH batteries have become depleated, use the
included 12V DC Adaptor Charger or Automotive Adaptor Charger. Plug the
adaptor into a power outlet, and plug the cord into the 12V DC Connection on
the Interface Panel. "Charge" appears on the LCD Display.

Using the Flashlight

The DVR Flashlight has three levels of brightness: Low, Medium, and High.
Pressing the Flashlight Button cycles through each of these before turning off
again. The flashlight can be set at any of the three brightness levels (or off)
while recording a video or taking a snapshot.
