Recharging the Battery

Connect the 12V DC power adapter to an appropriate power source. Remove
the Flashlight Head (if it is installed) and secure the Battery Charging Cover
to the Flashlight Body. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the Battery
Charging Cover. (See diagrams on the next page.) The Charging Status LED
on the power adapter displays red when the battery is charging, and green
when charging is complete. Remove the Battery Charging Cover and reinstall
the Flashlight Head to use the SV-1600.
WARNING - Do NOT attempt to remove the rechargeable battery from the
Flashlight Body. It has been correctly installed at the factory and is not user
replaceable. The SV-1600 does not accept standard alkaline or other types of
rechargeable batteries.
When the flashlight power is low, the Recording Indicator LED flashes blue. If
the flashlight is on, it will blink 5 times when 20 seconds of power remains. A
full recharge of the battery takes four hours.
