Check the routing of the throttle cable.
The throttle cable must be routed behind the handlebar, on the right of the
upper frame tube, and to the carburetor.

If the throttle cable is not routed as specified:

Finishing work
Install the fuel tank.
Mount the seat. (
Check the rubber grips on the handlebar for damage and wear and to ensure they
are firmly seated.

If a rubber grip is damaged, worn, or loose:
Change and secure the rubber grip.

Check the rubber grip. (

Secure the rubber grip at two points using the securing wire.
Securing wire (54812016000)
Wire twister forceps (U6907854)
The twisted wire ends face away from the hands and are bent toward the rub-
ber grip.

Adjust the basic setting of the clutch lever to your hand size by turning adjust-
ing screw
