maker's instructions for any
additional advice on adjusting or
tightening the fit.
Flexible type child restraint
system is available in some
countries. In EU countries, this
type is not available.

To access the anchor fitting,
remove the tonneau cover (see
page
164
), then remove the plastic
cover on the seat-back.
RELEASE LEVER

Push the release lever forward and
remove the rear head restraint on
the seating position you want to
use (see page
158
). The removed
head restraint should be secured
so it will not be thrown while you
are driving. Make sure to replace
the rear head restraint when the
child restraint system is not in use.
Protecting Children
To reinstall the rear head restraint,
push the release lever forward, then
push in the head restraint until you
hear a click.
Pushing the release lever unlocks
the seat-back. After removing or
reinstalling the rear head restraint,
push the seat-back firmly against its
latch to lock it upright. Tug on the
seat-back to ensure that it is latched.
Make sure the seat-backs are
latched securely before
driving.
