Severe Driving Conditions
If you drive your vehicle under one or more of the following severe
conditions, the items described below must be serviced according to the
maintenance schedule indicated as Severe.
Severe Conditions:
A: Driving less than 8 km (5 miles) per trip or, in freezing temperatures,
driving less than 16 km (10 miles) per trip.
B: Driving in extremely hot [over 35°C (95°F)] conditions.
C: Extensive idling or long periods of stop-and-go driving.
D: Trailer towing, driving with a roof rack, or driving in mountainous
conditions.
E: Driving on muddy, dusty, or de-iced roads.
