Push back the rear outer head
restraint to its original position.
4.
Tug on the seat-back and the head
restraint to make sure they are
latched securely.
Make sure the seat-back is locked
securely after the seat-back is
returned to the upright position. If
not, the seat belts do not work
properly.
Make sure the seat-backs are
latched securely before
driving.
Do not put any heavy items on the
seat-back when it is folded.
Any objects between the seat bottom
and the seat-back prevent the seat
from pivoting to the original position.
Make sure the seat buckles are
stored on the locators.
Folding Rear Seat
Make sure all items in the luggage
area are secured. Loose items can fly
forward and cause injury if you have
to brake hard. See

.
Always replace the rear head
restraints when the seat-
backs are returned to upright
position.
