Controls Near the Steering Wheel
To turn on the rear window wiper,
rotate the switch clockwise to ON. It
operates intermittently. If you wish
to use the wiper and washer, turn
and hold the switch one position up
from ON. To use the washer only,
turn and hold the switch one position
down from OFF.
When you shift the transmission to
the reverse position with the front
windscreen wiper activated, the rear
window wiper operates automatically.

Instruments and Controls
On models with automatic intermittent
wiper
When the front windscreen wiper is
set to AUTO, the rear wiper operates
intermittently or continuously in
sequence with the front wiper.
On models with intermittent wiper
When the front windscreen wiper is
set to INT, the rear wiper operates
intermittently.
Either with the automatic
intermittent wiper (AUTO) or with
the intermittent wiper (INT), the
rear window wiper operates
continuously in the LO or HI setting.
The rear window washer uses the
same fluid reservoir as the wind-
screen washer.

Rear Window Demister

Vehicles without navigation system
The rear window demister will clear
fog, frost, and thin ice from the
window. Push the demister button to
turn it on and off. The light in the
button lights to show the demister is
on. It also shuts off when you turn
off the ignition. You have to turn it
on again when you restart the
vehicle.
