Folding Rear Seat
Any objects on the seat cushion or
between the seat bottom and the
seat-back prevent the seat cushion
from popping up, and you cannot fold
down the rear seat-back fully.
If you try to fold down the seat-back
forcibly when the seat cushion is not
in the upright position, this will
damage the seat components.
The rear seat cushion may get
caught on the front seat-back
because of the front seat position,
and you won't be able to fold down
the rear seat-back fully.

Instruments and Controls
To return the seat-back to the
upright position:
1. Pull up the seat-back. While the
seat-back is pushed rearward, the
seat cushion will pivot down to the
original position automatically.
Make sure all hands and fingers
are clear of the seat cushion and
the side edge of the rear seat.
2. Push the seat-back firmly against
its latch.
Make sure the seat-back and the
seat cushion are securely latched.
