4 Replacement Procedures

4.11 Wireless LAN board

Removing the Wireless LAN board
To remove the wireless LAN board, make sure the computer is in boot mode and powered off,
follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-22.
NOTE: The wireless LAN board is an option in some models. This computer supports
three types of wireless LAN board (802.11a/g, 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g).
CAUTION: Do not try to remove the wireless LAN board with the computer turned on.
The computer or the wireless LAN board can be damaged. Do not touch the
connectors on the wireless LAN board module on the computer. Debris on
the connectors may cause wireless LAN board access problems.
1. Peel off two glass tapes and disconnect the wireless LAN antenna cables (black and
white) from the wireless LAN board using an antenna coaxial cable disconnector.
