ERROR CODES

When a problem occurs using the balance, the display will indicate an error code.
Table 2-2 describes the various error codes and specifies the probable cause and remedy.

Err 5
Average Piece Weight too small.
Err 7.0
Time out after delay in Power on
or menu item selection.
Err 8.1
Pan has load during power on.
Err 8.2
Pan was removed prior to power
on.
Err 8.3
Weight on Pan exceeds
capacity.
Err 8.4
Pan was removed during
weighing.
Err 9.5
Factory calibration data
corrupted.
Err 9.8
Factory calibration data
corrupted.
Error 53
Cable from Load Cell to Main
PCB disconnected or damaged
EEPROM Checksum error.
REF Err
Reference weight is too small.
LOWrEF
Reference weight is too low for
accurate parts counting or
percent weighing.

Add additional samples.
Press Off, then press On.
