1 Purpose of this Manual

The purpose of this Service Manual is to provide service engineers who already have the basic knowledge
necessary to repair dryers with information concerning condenser dryers with electronic control systems
(mod. EDR1000NEW) produced in the factory in Porcia (Italy).
The EDR1000NEW control system features a single PCB that incorporates the power and display functions
and a maximum of 13 LEDs and 5 switches. This PCB can be used with conductimetric condenser models
as well as vented dryers.

2 IMPORTANT

2.1 Safety

ð Repairs to electrical appliances must be effected only by qualified service engineers.
ð Before touching internal components, always remove the plug from the power socket.

2.2 Installation

ð The appliance must be installed on a perfectly level surface in order to ensure that the condensed water
flows correctly into the tank.
ð The feet must NOT be removed. The gap between the bottom of the dryer and the floor is essential to
prevent overheating.
